WHAT DO I DO ?

Anything that is graphic. Flyers, brochuces, calenders, T-shirts designs, CD covers, buttons and more. Most prices are based on a sliding scale, and I usually charge by the job. If the job is large in scope I charge an hourly fee of $25/hr. If you would like a sample of some of the jobs I have done please check out my work page or the merch page. Note that most jobs will take two weeks to a month to finish, if a "rush job" is needed (seven to ten days) an additional $100.00 will be add to the final price.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Most jobs can easily be done over the web. If you like to use the post that is fine also. If any reference material that is sent to me should include a SASE for the return of said materials.

You as the client are shown a "first", after that you are shown a rough final you can make any changes or suggestion at this point. You may view this via e-mail or I can post them on my web site. Then you are shown the "final" any changes at this time will be very diffcult to make and will cost you an addtional $50/hr. So make any changes you want but early in the process. Receiving a final copy of you project can be done over the web via e-mail or can be sent thru the post. I can also provide you with a CD of your project for an addtional $10, please note that I use a Mac (OS 9.2).

INFORMATION Regarding COPYRIGHT and OWNERSHIP of ORIGINAL ARTWORK

The term "Original Artwork" is specific and refers to the actual pencil, pen & ink, paper or computer generated artwork produced by an artist. "Copyright" is a legal term, which has laws governing it with specific reference to the subject of artwork and artists.

According to US law and the policies that I follow, the individual artist automatically retains ownership of any Original Artwork produced by that artist, as well as Copyright to that artwork.

By hiring me, Joe Marshall (Planet Named Desire), the client agrees to "usage" of images produced, within the parameters of the agreed upon project. Granting of further "print rights" for additional or future projects can be negotiated at any time.

The individual artist may choose to sell Copyright, in part or full, to the client at their own discretion for a flat fee to be negotiated separately.

Ownership of Copyright does not include ownership of Original Artwork which individual artists may choose to sell at a price of their own determination to be negotiated separately.

Likewise, ownership of Original Artwork does not grant ownership of Copyright.
